Image Editing

Harvey Nichs Comp

The key to image editing is to ensure that any work done enhances the image and isn't obvious to the viewer.

Many effects are possible from compositing of multiple images to provide scale and viewpoint that would otherwise not be possible with the camera alone. Unwanted artefacts such as people and road signs can be removed and lighting can be altered to provide the desired tone of the image.

In the image on the right (above), the perspective has been fine tuned, the light temperature corrected and many unwanted artefacts have been removed thus reducing distractions to the viewer. If the corrected iage were to be viewed without th original, the changes would not be known to the viewer.

Work can be done to images I have shot to meet clients requirements or done to existing image files where appropriate. Please contact me for a quote.
